Counter Capsule

Hide everyday appliances and countertop essentials behind a clean architectural façade, then open the capsule into a ready-to-use workstation whenever the routine begins.

 The Problem

Your Counter Was Never Meant to Become Permanent Storage.

Coffee machines, toasters, jars, cables, accessories, and everyday essentials are useful individually. Left permanently exposed together, they turn the worktop into a storage surface instead of open kitchen space.

Appliances create permanent visual noise. Even a clean kitchen can feel crowded when every everyday device remains on display.
Cables interrupt the countertop. Power cords often remain visible around appliances and adjacent accessories.
Small essentials gather around larger appliances. Coffee, filters, bread, utensils, jars, and accessories quickly create secondary clutter.
Putting everything away adds another routine. Fully clearing the counter can require repeatedly moving heavy or frequently used objects.
 The Qevoruna™ Approach

Make the Counter Quiet Again.

Counter Capsule gives everyday appliances a permanent working location without requiring them to remain visually exposed, creating a structure that shifts between concealed storage and active workstation.

Six Design Innovations

Open When You Need It. Disappear When You Do Not.

Counter Capsule is designed around the transition between storage and use, allowing the same structure to conceal, reveal, support, route, and organize everyday countertop routines.

01

Architectural Concealment

Appliances and everyday essentials sit behind one composed façade, replacing a collection of individual objects with a calmer visual plane when the workstation is not active.

02

Retracting Front Plane

The front surface moves out of the working path when the capsule is opened, revealing the interior without requiring a conventional door to remain extended into the surrounding kitchen space.

03

Pull-Out Working Tray

The internal platform can move forward when an appliance or task requires more working access, bringing the active zone closer to the edge of the counter.

04

Integrated Cable Routing

Power cables follow a defined internal path so they can remain connected without crossing randomly across the visible work surface.

05

Ventilation Geometry

Openings within the rear structure allow air to move through the enclosed working volume while keeping the external profile visually restrained.

06

Modular Interior Shelf

Internal height can be configured around different appliance forms, containers, and accessories so the capsule can support more than one countertop routine.

The Core Difference

Keep the Appliance Ready Without Keeping It on Display.

Traditional Countertop

Appliance + Cable + Accessories + Containers = Permanent Display

Every object remains visually present even during the hours when none of them are being used.

Counter Capsule

Conceal → Open → Use → Close

The workstation remains prepared behind one architectural surface and appears only when the routine requires it.

One Simple Transition

Open. Extend. Use. Restore.

Counter Capsule turns the shift from a calm countertop to an active workstation into one repeatable sequence.

Open Retract the front plane and reveal the prepared interior.
↓
Extend Pull the working tray forward when more direct access is required.
↓
Use Complete the routine with appliances, accessories, and cables already organized.
↓
Restore Return the tray, close the front plane, and bring the counter back to a quieter state.
One Capsule, Different Routines

Build the Interior Around What Lives on Your Counter.

The modular interior allows Counter Capsule to organize different countertop routines within the same architectural language.

Configuration 01

Coffee Station

Organize a coffee machine, beans, filters, cups, and related accessories within one concealed zone.

Configuration 02

Breakfast Station

Group a toaster, bread storage, spreads, utensils, and everyday breakfast essentials behind one façade.

Configuration 03

Beverage Station

Create a dedicated home for kettles, cups, tea, drink accessories, and frequently used containers.

Configuration 04

Prep Appliance Station

Conceal compact appliances and related tools until the preparation routine begins.

Retracting Front Plane

The Front Should Disappear When the Work Begins.

Instead of leaving an open cabinet door between the user and the workstation, the front plane retracts away from the primary access area.

Closed

The front surface completes the exterior façade and reduces the visual presence of the objects inside.

Opening

The plane moves away from the working path rather than occupying additional counter width.

Open

The full interior becomes accessible as one working zone.

Restored

Once the routine is complete, the front plane returns and the workstation becomes visually quiet again.

Pull-Out Working Tray

Bring the Workstation Forward Only When You Need It.

Counter depth is useful for storage, but active use often works better closer to the user. The Pull-Out Working Tray bridges those two states.

Stored Position The appliance remains deeper inside the capsule when the station is inactive.
↓
Pull Forward Move the active working platform toward the front edge.
↓
Use Operate the workstation with improved access to the appliance and surrounding tools.
↓
Return Slide the working plane back inside when the routine is finished.
Integrated Cable Routing

The Cable Belongs to the Workstation, Not the Counter.

Counter Capsule treats power routing as part of the architecture so cables can follow a consistent path instead of becoming another loose object across the working surface.

Guide

Direct appliance cables toward a defined internal route.

Contain

Keep excess cable length closer to the structure instead of letting it spread across the worktop.

Exit

Allow power to leave the capsule through a deliberate rear or side pathway.

Conceal

When the front closes, the power setup remains part of the workstation rather than part of the visible counter.

Ventilation Geometry

Conceal the Objects Without Making the Interior Feel Sealed.

Integrated openings at the rear structure allow air movement within the capsule while preserving the cleaner front-facing appearance of the workstation.

Zone 01

Rear Air Gap

Maintain separation between stored appliances and the rear architectural plane.

Zone 02

Vent Openings

Allow airflow through defined portions of the structure without visually opening the entire façade.

Zone 03

Cable Clearance

Coordinate ventilation and cable routing so the rear zone remains organized rather than becoming a tangle of separate utilities.

Modular Interior

The Interior Should Adapt to the Routine.

Different appliances and accessories require different vertical clearances. Adjustable interior organization allows the capsule to be configured around the objects it actually contains.

Lower Zone

Primary Appliance

Reserve the main working plane for the largest or most frequently used countertop device.

Upper Zone

Supporting Essentials

Use adjustable shelf height for cups, ingredients, containers, or smaller tools related to the routine.

Side Zone

Vertical Accessories

Organize slim tools, boards, trays, or supporting pieces within a narrower internal section.

Rear Zone

Utility Path

Keep cables and ventilation functions behind the active storage plane where they remain accessible but visually restrained.

Architectural Thinking

Designed as a Transforming Workstation, Not an Appliance Cabinet.

Counter Capsule follows the wider Qevoruna™ design language: hidden utility, modular geometry, deliberate movement, and the ability to return the kitchen to a quieter visual state after use.

Concealment Has a Function

The façade reduces visual noise while allowing frequently used objects to remain ready behind it.

Movement Creates Access

Retracting and pull-out elements change position only when the workstation becomes active.

Utilities Stay Integrated

Cable routing, ventilation, storage, and working access are treated as parts of one system.

The Counter Returns to Calm

Closing the capsule transforms many visible objects back into one clean architectural surface.

Part of a Larger Kitchen System

One Product. One Role. One Connected Architecture.

Counter Capsule is designed as the countertop concealment component within the Qevoruna™ Architectural Kitchen System — connecting appliance storage, everyday routines, cable organization, working access, and visual reset through one consistent kitchen language.
