Curved Utensil Organization

Utensil Arc

Organize everyday cooking tools around the natural reach of your hand with a curved modular station designed for faster access, clearer placement, and a calmer countertop.

 The Problem

Most Utensil Storage Is Designed Around the Container, Not the Cook.

Spatulas disappear behind ladles. Tongs lean across spoons. Frequently used tools compete inside one deep container or spread across the counter without a clear relationship to the cooking zone.

Tools overlap inside vertical holders. The utensil you need often sits behind or beneath several others.
Long tools create unstable arrangements. Different lengths and handle shapes compete inside the same narrow opening.
Wet utensils create counter mess. Recently used spoons and spatulas often drip onto the work surface between uses.
Storage ignores natural reach. Tools may be organized neatly but still positioned outside the most convenient cooking motion.
 The Qevoruna™ Approach

Everything Within One Natural Reach.

Utensil Arc replaces the traditional vertical utensil holder with a curved organization system built around the cooking radius — keeping tools visible, separated, and positioned where the hand naturally moves.

Five Design Innovations

Built Around the Radius of Everyday Cooking.

Utensil Arc organizes tools by movement and frequency rather than forcing every utensil into the same vertical container.

01

Arc-Based Access

The curved form follows a natural reach zone around the cooking area, allowing frequently used utensils to sit along a visible arc rather than being hidden behind one another in a deep holder.

02

Pivot Hooks

Individual hanging points can rotate to accommodate different handle shapes and utensil angles. Each tool can turn toward a more convenient retrieval position without reorganizing the entire station.

03

Removable Utensil Pods

Selected tools can be grouped inside removable pods for upright storage, allowing the station to combine hanging and standing organization within the same architectural system.

04

Integrated Drip Base

A defined lower surface receives moisture from recently used utensils instead of allowing drips to spread directly across the surrounding counter.

05

Expandable Modules

The system can accommodate additional hooks or storage elements as the utensil collection changes, allowing the architecture to grow without replacing the entire station.

Designed Around Reach

Straight-Line Storage Makes the Far End Farther.

A long row of tools creates different reaching distances. The arc brings the outer positions inward so more of the station remains within a similar natural movement range.

Traditional Linear Storage

Reach → Search → Move Tools → Reach Again

Tools at the center and far edges require different movements, while overlapping utensils interrupt access.

Utensil Arc

See → Reach → Return

Frequently used tools remain visible along one curved access zone with a defined position for each piece.

A Simpler Cooking Motion

See. Reach. Use. Return.

Utensil Arc is designed to keep the transition between cooking and storage short enough that returning a tool feels like part of the same motion.

See Identify the tool from its visible position along the arc.
↓
Reach Take the tool without unpacking or separating neighboring utensils.
↓
Use Cook normally while the remaining tools stay organized.
↓
Return Place the utensil back on its hook, pod, or temporary drip position.
One Arc, Different Tool Types

Hang What Hangs. Stand What Stands.

Utensil Arc combines different storage behaviors within one structure so the tool determines how it should be stored.

Module 01

Pivot Hook Zone

Hang spatulas, ladles, tongs, whisks, and other looped utensils along individually adjustable points.

Module 02

Standing Pod

Keep selected tools upright when their shape is better suited to a contained vertical position.

Module 03

Active Tool Rest

Give the utensil currently in use a temporary position between stirring, turning, or serving.

Module 04

Drip Base

Collect moisture and cooking residue within a defined lower area rather than across the surrounding countertop.

Module 05

Expansion Point

Add additional organization positions when the cooking setup or utensil collection requires more capacity.

Organize by Frequency

Put the Most-Used Tools in the Shortest Reach.

The arc can be arranged around how often each utensil enters the cooking sequence instead of simply grouping tools by size.

Primary Reach

Daily Tools

Position spatulas, spoons, and tongs used most often near the center of the access arc.

Secondary Reach

Task-Specific Tools

Place whisks, skimmers, pasta tools, or occasional utensils slightly farther along the curve.

Flexible Position

Current Cooking Tools

Reconfigure hooks and pods around the specific tools required for the current meal.

Pivot Hooks

Fixed Storage Should Not Force Every Tool Into the Same Angle.

Different handles, hanging loops, and utensil lengths behave differently. Pivot Hooks allow the individual storage point to respond without changing the entire arc.

Rotate Toward Access

Adjust the hanging position so frequently used handles face a more natural retrieval direction.

Reduce Handle Collision

Small angle changes help neighboring tools occupy separate positions instead of crossing one another.

Adapt to Different Shapes

Broad spatulas, narrow whisks, deep ladles, and tongs do not need to follow one rigid orientation.

A Place for the Tool Between Uses

The Utensil Does Not Have to Land on the Counter.

Cooking tools are often used repeatedly over a short period. The Integrated Drip Base gives active utensils a defined place while keeping the surrounding preparation area more organized.

Use Stir, turn, lift, or serve with the selected utensil.
↓
Rest Place the active utensil within the defined drip area between cooking steps.
↓
Use Again Retrieve it without searching across the worktop.
↓
Return Move the utensil back to its permanent position when the task is complete.
Architectural Thinking

Designed as a Reach System, Not a Utensil Cup.

Utensil Arc follows the wider Qevoruna™ design language: purposeful geometry, modular organization, defined return points, and a direct relationship between the object and the movement around it.

The Curve Has a Function

The arc is built around reach distance rather than being added only as a decorative shape.

Every Tool Gets a Position

Hooks and pods create identifiable return points instead of one shared container.

Movement Remains Visible

Tools are arranged so selection and return can happen without unpacking the system.

Utility Stays Within One Form

Hanging, standing, resting, and drip management remain part of the same composed architecture.

Configure Around the Way You Cook

Keep the Arc Minimal or Build It Out.

The station can remain compact for a focused everyday setup or expand when a larger collection of tools needs to stay within reach.

Minimal Setup

Daily Essentials

Keep only the most frequently used utensils visible along the primary reach arc.

Expanded Setup

Full Cooking Station

Add hooks or pods to organize a broader set of tools around the active cooking zone.

Task Setup

Reconfigure for the Meal

Adjust the arc around the exact utensils required for a specific cooking sequence.

Part of a Larger Kitchen System

One Product. One Role. One Connected Architecture.

Utensil Arc is designed as the active tool organization component within the Qevoruna™ Architectural Kitchen System — connecting cooking, utensil access, temporary resting, and return through one consistent kitchen language.
